Don’t Lose Hope was birthed, by God, due to a series of traumatic events, which occurred, in Demetria Lanette Haugabook’s life.
After an attempt to assassinate Demetria’s grandson and her life, it caused traumatic injury to Demetria’s brain. Having suffered with severe depression, with psychosis, PTSD, memory loss, loss of comprehension, focus, concentration, speech and anxiety, for seven years, Demetria was forced, by God, to begin working.
Demetria began driving for Uber, then Lyft. After Demetria began driving for Lyft, clients she transported were being drawn to her. While driving, she would listen to Joel Osteen. The clients began to tell Demetria, what a difference she made in their lives, during each transport. It wasn’t until then, God began to reveal His purpose for Demetria’s life - a need to inspire, encourage, provide hope and assist people with day to day living.
On December 13, 2019, while transporting, Demetria met Laura "Elle" Little. During the transport, Demetria and Elle began to discuss their business ideas. The two scheduled their first business meeting, on December 16, 2019. Habakkuk 2:2-3 took root and Don’t Lose Hope was birthed!
